Important Notes
- Above registration fee includes 18% GST
- Post Graduate should produce valid certificate attested by HOD. The letter or ID card should be valid till December, 2026

Abstract Submission
GICS Abstract Submission
- Case Report & Case Series submissions should be in a 2-slide PPT format (excluding title slide).
- Other research submissions should be in a 4–6 slide PPT format (excluding title slide).
- Presenting author must be physically present in Bangalore for the presentation.
GICS wishes to invest in young, talented scientists who have the potential to become outstanding independent investigators. Members aged 35 years or younger at the time of applying and within two years of completion of critical care training are eligible for the Young Researcher Award.

Guidelines
Language: All material must be submitted in English only (Arial Font).
Abstract Submission: Kindly submit your abstracts online.
Originality: Abstracts must be of original material.
Order of Abstract
Introduction: Provide brief background and aims of the project.
Methods: Describe design methodology including inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Results: Describe statistical analysis used and present appropriate results with charts or diagrams.
Conclusion: Discuss conclusions, limitations and applicability of the study.
Young Talent Search 2026
The Organising Committee of GICS 2026 is pleased to announce the initiation of the GICS Young Talent Search (GICS YTS 2026) — an academic initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing fresh talent among young intensivists.
The Top 5 speakers selected through the competition will be invited to deliver a podium presentation at GICS 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Criteria
- Must be less than 45 years of age as on 31st December 2025.
2. Professional Criteria
- Minimum 5 years of Critical Care practice (including training period).
- At least 50% involvement in Critical Care practice is mandatory.
3. Presentation Ability
- Applicants should submit a 5-minute presentation.
- Maximum 6 slides excluding title slide.
- Topic must be selected from the panel’s suggested topics.
Instructions for Participation
- Ensure eligibility criteria are fulfilled before applying.
- Maximum 6 slides in 16:9 format.
- Only the official GICS presentation template should be used.
- Submit application and tentative slide deck on or before 31st July 2026.
- Online presentations will be conducted via Zoom.
- Participants must not disclose their name, mentor, institute, hospital, or city during the presentation.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive a new topic for the next round.
- The best 5 presenters will be selected to present live at GICS 2026.
- Participants must not contact panellists to influence the selection process.
- Selected presenters must register for GICS 2026.
- Travel and accommodation will be provided as per GICS 2026 Organising Committee policy.
